Welcome to the Ward 6 Spirit tree!! Our new blog will serve as a means to celebrate our scholars and you, their parents. Moreover, I can continually update you with all the necessary information you need to stay updated with regards to all of the events that take place in and out of Center. I hope you appreciate and enjoy being a part of our Spirit Tree.
Center Location Update- We are currently making arrangements to secure the location for our upcoming summer academy location. I apologize for the delay; however, we have been working very hard to resolve this issue. As soon as a location is secured, I will pass the information along to all parents. Thank you for your patience and support throughout this process.
Welcome Ms. Moraya Seeger-Jackson to our community as the incoming Assistant Center Director. Moraya recently graduated from Guilford College in North Carolina. Though a recent graduate she comes to Higher Achievement will tons of relevant experiences. For example she created a partnership with Guilford College and a local middle school to provide individual tutorial services for 40 students to strengthen their reading and writing skills. Her program required that she recruit and train 30 volunteers. She's facilitated trainings for her volunteers in learning styles, organizational skills, and experiential learning. We are delighted to welcome Ms. Moraya into the Higher Achievement family.
