The New Family induction was a huge success and Higher Achievemnt is truly blessed to have such wonderful families to work with. Thank you to all of our New Families for your awesome spirit. I am so excited to have ment all of you and look forward to all of the wonderful things you and your scholars will bring to the Ward 6 family. I would also like to take a moment to give a big shout out to two individuals that really stepped up last night...
Mr. Calvin Shingler is a 3rd year parent at Higher Achievement. Last night Mr. Shingler spoke with passion and conviction about his commitment to Higher Achievement and the roles we all play in contributing to the development of scholars. His words were both moving and poignant, and clearly illustrated the partnership we aspire to create with each family. Thank you Mr. Shingler for your leadership and continued commitment to our community.
Ms. Moraya Seeger-Jackson is our new awesome Assistant Center Director. She did an amazing job modeling our Center culture and making all of the families feel right at home. thank you Ms. Moraya for joining us; we will all surely benefit from your SPARC at Center.
I was so excited after leaving the induction last night. I have high hopes that our son will go in with a positive attitude and an open mind.
