Hi Ward 6 Families,
I am excited to notify you that we have secured a host site for our Ward 6 Center! The Ward 6 Achievement Center will be hosted by Center City Public Charter School, located at 1503 East Capitol St, SE Washington, DC 20003. We are excited to partner with Center City, and feel that they offer a long term benefit to our scholars. We look forward to working with Center City, and supporting you as we make this transition. With our site secured, we are moving forward with the launching of After School Academy. Please see below for the schedule of our launch. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and understanding throughout this process. I look forward to seeing all of you soon and beginning the work ahead.
• Monday, October26, 2009 - Afterschool Academy Kick-off
6-8 pm at Center City Public Charter School (1503 East Capitol St, SE
Washington, DC 20003).
• Tuesday October 27, 2009 - Launch of After School Academy
3:30-8pm 1st Day of Center
• Thursday October 29, 2009- Center will take place from 3:30-8pm
