Thanksfest & Spelling Bee-The Center Spelling Bee and Thanksfest are right around the corner. This event will be held on Thursday, November 19th. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and recognize and celebrate our scholars, and each other. I hope to see all of you there. If you would like to contribute to our Thanksfest Potluck, please touch base with Ms. Moraya.
Weekly Challenges: Parents, this week I will resume the weekly challenges. In an effort to build our foreign language and math skills, much of the weekly challenge work will center on those areas. Please review the weekly challenge and assist your scholars in earning some SPARC chips.
Portfolios: Please continue to encourage scholars to add any outstanding written work to their portfolios. A reflection sheet is required for each entry into their portfolio as well. This continued emphasis on excellence in their work will benefit them greatly as they prepare for their middle school and high school transition.
