Report Cards-Report cards are in the process of being released at most schools. If your scholars’ report card has been released and I do not yet have it, could you please e-mail it to me or have the scholar bring it to Center? Report cards are crucial pieces of information in supporting the scholars and gauging scholar progress. It is Higher Achievement policy to have all report cards within 2 weeks of their release. Lastly, I sent out an earlier e-mail that detailed the schools I have received report cards from. If you still don’t know whether or not you need to submit you scholar’s report card, feel free to contact me, or send the report card in with your scholar to be copied.
Scholar Pizza Party-In celebration of our awesome scholars, all scholars who met the Center goal of receiving all A’s and B’s will be participating in a Dean’s List pizza party on Thursday, December 1st. Please make I have their report cards to accurately create the list of participating scholars. The deadline for submission to be included is Monday, November 30th. All scholars who are on the Dean’s List will have pizza that night, even late arriving scholars. Congratulations to all for the families and scholars who made Dean’s list this quarter.
8th Grade essays-As a reminder to our 8th graders and their families, all first drafts of your High School placement essays are due on November 30th. Please work diligently to complete your first drafts by that time to ensure that you are making adequate progress.
