No center on Monday. As reminder families, we have no Center on Monday December 7, 2009. Center will resume on Tuesday December 8, 2009.
Congratulations to Jordan Person, our remaining Ward 6 representative for the upcoming Spell-off against the other remaining finalists from the Alexandria, Ward 1, and Ward 4 Centers. Congratulations to all of our scholars Tahj, Mekiya, Raheem, and Sydney for representing their families and our Center with poise and class; great job to you all.
End of the term celebration- On Thursday, December 17 we will bring a close to the Fall Academy for higher Achievement. That night will involve an Awards Ceremony and light refreshments. If you would like to contribute to our refreshments for the night please e-mail (or otherwise contact) Mr. Sam. I look forward to ending our semester on a High note and celebrating the efforts of our families, mentors, scholars and partners.
