Individual Graduation Plans- I was recently made aware of an amazing resource already available to every DCPS student. “Individual Graduation Portfolios” is a new initiative being incorporated by DC Public Schools. It was communicated to me that all families and students were introduced to this tool earlier in the year. Currently, schools are integrating it into the scholars’ Advisory period, and by the end of the year each scholar in grade six or above is to have completed the guide ways or goals for the current year. I am posting the information related to this amazing tool in the resources section of our blog. This resource provides scholars with a comprehensive college preparation planning tool. Please make an effort to familiarize yourself with this tool; it is truly amazing and will become increasingly important as DCPS incorporates it more fully into their curriculum.
