Howard University Annual Day of Service: April 3, 2010

“On Saturday, April 3rd, the Howard University Student Association is organizing an annual day of service. Over 500 student and faculty volunteers will gather on Howard’s campus at 9 am to complete various service projects. Some of the projects they have planned thus far include a legal clinic provided by Howard University Law School students and a dance clinic sponsored by Howard’s cheerleaders. This event is a great opportunity to take your scholars to a local college campus and introduce them to real-life applications of our social justice themes. If you are interested in taking your scholars to this event, please remember to contact their guardians beforehand to obtain their permission and arrange transportation logistics.
