In the hustle and bustle of the final week of Center, the winners of the Science Fair were not announced at Center. In an effort to recognize all of their hard work, here are the winners….
5th Grade
Best Experiment: “Food Coloring” by Campbell & Amiya
Most Interesting Hypothesis: “Whirlpool” Jayla and Isaiah M.
Best Project: “Five Senses” by Genesis and others
6th Grade
Best Experiment: “Why it’s Dark at Night” by Malcolm T., & Isaiah
Most Interesting Hypothesis: “Stars” by Tiena & others
Best Project: “Black Holes” by Isaiah S. & Assad
7th Grade
Best Experiment: “Vibrations on a String” by Conor & Kenneth
Most Interesting Hypothesis: “Dominant and Recessive Genes” by Rajae
Best Project: “Carbon Clan” by Sydney Fletcher
8th Grade
The 8th grade scholars piloted a curriculum based on Rube Goldberg machines this summer. In the process of creating projects, they decided to build their machines as an entire class. As such we did not pick a best project; both classes did very well and build excellent machines. Great job 8th graders.
