Literary Love Poetry Competition

On Tuesday February 14th the Ward 6 Community celebrated “Love” with our Annual Literary Love Poetry Competition. The night was full of inspiring and heart-warming poems presented by our awesome scholars. The participating scholars took a huge risk in sharing their thoughts and emotions with everyone in attendance. As the night concluded, two scholars (Faith & Davine) were chosen to represent Ward 6 at the regional performance, which will be held at the Kennedy Center next Wednesday, February 29th from 7:30-9pm. We hope to see you there at this fun and free event as we continue to celebrate the voices of our Higher Achievement scholars.
