Summer Shout-Out's

Shout-Out’s:
If you have shout-out’s that you would like to add to this section, you can add a comment or send them to me and I will add them for you.

Spirit:
Shout out to the 8th graders for their spirit this summer. It is clear that you all care for one another and are trying to turn your relationships into something positive and meaningful. Your efforts had a major impact on us this summer and you should be recognized for it. Thank you for pushing yourselves and our center forward.

Shout out to our teachers for making an effort to get to know each of your scholars. Your relationships will have a lasting and powerful impact on us all.

Academic Excellence:
Shout-out to Ms. Kim for an amazing chess elective that challenged scholars to think and taught them to leverage their strengths in chess and in life. Thank you Ms. Kim.

Shout-out to Mr. Jeff and Ms. Chanel for engaging our scholars to create amazing Science Fair projects. Like all of the teachers your work was tireless, but did not go unnoticed. Our Science fair was a huge success and your work was integral to its success.

Shout-out to our Ward 6 families for pushing our scholars to do outstanding academic work. Our scholars will go into this coming year prepared and ready to be 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders because of your commitment and support; thank you.

Respect:
Shout out to Ms. Moraya for always honoring/respecting the unique aspects of all of our scholars and families. Your constant scholar centric attitude has created a safe and welcoming environment for us all.

Shout out to Ms. Gaskins for your open and honest communication. This communication allowed us to successfully collaborate on the best ways to support your scholars here at Center.

Shout-Out to our parents for the respect that you demonstrated in working through our difficult situations at center. I do appreciate, very much, your positive and respectful communications, especially in working with me through the difficulties we face at Center.

Collaboration:
Shout out to Ms. Stewart for your leadership and collaboration in planning the Family Fun Day at Six Flags this summer. This day would not have happened without your hard work and planning; thank you.

Shout out to Ms. Stewart, Mr. & Ms. Johnson, and Ms. Serrano for your collaboration in coming together to create a Parent Advisory Group for Ward 6. I look forward to seeing this group grow and evolve over the coming year.
