This week:Welcome to field trip Friday’s. This week the Ward 6 scholars will be going on their weekly field trip(s). Please be sure all of your necessary paperwork is in so that your scholars can participate. On Friday, Scholars need to bring the following: green Higher Achievement t-shirt, water bottle/drinks, packed lunch. Scholars are not permitted to buy lunch on field trips, so please pack them a picnic style lunch they can eat. Lastly, be sure to arrive to Center on time to avoid being left behind. Field Trip Friday’s are great fun for all, and I look forward to a successful 1st Field Trip Friday.
Next Week:Our 6th& 7th graders will be going to the Sandy Point State Beach. For this trip, we are in need of adult volunteers to accompany us as chaperones. We need a ratio of 5 scholars for every adult, so we are looking for at least 10 volunteers to accompany us for the day. If you’re interested in volunteering for the day, please contact Mr. James as soon as possible. Lastly, please remember your field trip necessities; Lunch, water, green t-shirt.
